RE: PUMP STATION #32 (MILLBROOK 3)
Dear Mr. Hunkele:
Kimley-Horn has designed improvements to Pump Station #32 — Millbrook 3 on behalf of Cape Fear
Public Utility Authority (CFPUA). Pump station #32 is located at 210 Brookview Rd, Wilmington, NC.
The project consists of the removal and replacement of existing pumps, fencing, electrical panels and
a generator and the addition of a valve vault, and a new wet well. The firm capacity of the pump is
0.3744 MGD. The original permits are not currently available to us, but we are requesting that the
pump station descriptions be modified in the existing permits. No additional flow will be added to the
system at this time and the new wet well will tie into existing force mains.
Enclosed are the following for your review:
• 15A NCAC 02T.0300 — Fast Track Sewer System Extension Form (1 copy)
• Application fee of $480
• CD with all permit requirements
• Aerial Image (1 copy)
• USGS Topographic Map (1 copy)
It is our understanding that neither the Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity nor Flow
Tracking / Acceptance Forms are necessary due to the nature of the work and zero additional flow.
Please contact me with any questions or issues concerning the application at (919) 237-9501 or
