Hi Liz,
Glad to hear things are going okay so far and that you and yours are staying safe.
So wetland WCA does extend up that bottom along the UNT to Reese Creek however the boundary that I could tell was
south, just outside of our study area. It does abruptly turn to follow that UNT and there is slight topo shift rising uphill
toward the corner of Murphy and Sanderosa road. The wetland had those dark loamy soils that seemed along the same
lines as Johnston Loam, but the soils within the study area were a lot lighter and sandy and didn’t show any redox
features that I could tell. I have attached some photos of the soils at DPs 06 & 07 and some general area photos for that
bottom. The vegetation was very much FAC and didn’t change much across the bottom, just the soil. To me, the soils
were similar to Lakeland or Candor sand series, Thoughts?
Please take a look and let me know if you need any additional info.
Cheers and Stay Safe

Hi Terry,
All good here so far. Hope you and the family are doing well and having a good weekend. I am interested in additional
information on datapoints 6 and 7 along Murphy Road (between Sanderosa Rd and Creekbottom Trail) on Figure 2B .
See attached snip with hillshade, for reference. My DEM LIDAR layer is not currently working, other wise I would have
snipped that instead. Reason I’m asking about this area, is the abrupt turn of wetland WCA just before the red expanded
study area, and the soils map and NWI map layer in this location, indicate possible wet areas w/in the red box.
We are still restricted from conducting site visits, no end in sight…at least not as of today. So if you could provide
pictures of the area, and the soil samples as well, that would be helpful to me.
Thanks and stay safe!
Liz
