Inspection Summary:
A routine compliance inspection of the Southeast Brunswick Sanitary District Collection System was conducted on August
11, 2020. The purpose of the evaluation was to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and
limitations specified in Permit WQCS00283. Bryan McCabe, District Manager, Paul Langford, BORC, and Envirolink staff
were present during the inspection.
The collection system is well maintained and records were organized and readily available for review. The District has
completed an extensive evaluation of the gravity sewer. Every manhole was located, distances between manholes
measured, pipe size, pipe material and year installed was documented. Infiltration and inflow issues have been a high priority
for the District, and money is designated in the CIP every year to address these issues. Detailed documentation of
maintenance and repair of pumps, including the simplex grinder pumps, and other collection system equipment was
available for review.
The facility is compliant with collection system permit WQCS00283. Please review the comment sections of the inspection
report for more details.
