(8) Schedule of Compliance for Cadmium, Copper, and Chromium VI, (page 14 of 17) of our NPDES permit to submit by September 1, 2020 a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) to NCDWR for approval. Please consider this document and the following for approval. The City of Albemarle currently samples for Cadmium, Copper, and Chromium VI as required in our NPDES permit, our NCDWR approved Long Term Monitoring Plan, and our Significant Industrial Users (SIUs) designated sites. For the calendar year 2020, not once have the compliance limits for Cadmium, Copper, and Chromium V 1 which is scheduled to become effective on September 1, 2025 been exceeded. This CAP is a summary of the actions and/or strategies to be taken to achieve compliance with the final Cadmium, Copper, and Chromium VI limits listed in Section A. 2. A hard copy of this cover letter and attachment will be sent to the addresses specified in our NPDES permit. Determine if exceedance was caused by operational issues and/or unusual circumstances. Change operational procedures if possible. No Review and evaluate recent analytical results of other locations ie.. Influent, SIU samples, uncontrollable site. Repeat sample at appropriate site(s). To determine source of elevated Cadmium, Copper, and/or Chromium VI. If source is determined, pollutant will be elminated and/or minimized through SIU permitting and/or our NCDWR approved Sewer Use Ordinance (and associated Enforcement Reponse Plan).
