We wish to thank Mr. Ronnie (Geno) Kennedy for granting us permission to visit your farm to conduct a follow-up inspection. Condition III 16 of the AWG100000 Swine Permit: Within fifteen (15) working days of receiving the request from the Division. The Permittee shall provide to the Division one (1) copy of all requested information and reports related to the operation of the animal waste management system. Once received by the Division, all such information and reports become public information, unless they constitute confidential information under G.S. 132-1.2 or 143-215.9D and shall be made available to the public by the Division as specified in Chapter 132 of the General Statutes —[ 15A NCAC 02T .0108©] Information request 1: After the compliance inspection of the Cedar Bay Farm on February 14, 2020, you provided DWR a Plan of Action (POA) for the repair of the seep in the lagoon wall that was discovered during the inspection. This POA required you to lower the lagoon level approximately 48 inches before the repair can be started. The DWR request that you provide an updated POA with a time frame for the repair of the seep in the lagoon. This POA should include the available PAN you have remaining for the current crop window and the winter crop. Based on the observation of your old spray fields during the follow-up inspection, they have not been maintained as specified in your WUP. Until these fields are planted in the specified crop they cannot be considered for use in the POA. In addition, this POA should contain a time line for when the lagoon could be lowered to 48 inches or more and an engineering report as to how the repair will be made. This report should be written by a North Carolina licensed Professional Engineer. so the lagoon repair ea be staftea. Information request 2: Provide DWR a copy of your new CAWMP, this should also include the irrigation design maps. The Division of Water Resources requests that you provide the requested information, within fifteen (15) working days from the receipt of this letter. 1.
