We have not been protecting the pdf's before we send them but will do so in the future. I feel like an incomplete PCN
with leftover info was submitted to the DEQ portal. We apologize for the inconvenience, it's a bit embarrassing.
As an aside, I've been getting to know the Etchinson's through bat and crayfish surveys being conducted at the property
I caretake. It's being conserved through a combination of CWMTF, EEG and other grants in combo with private
funding. It's also being developed as a Career Tech/Natural Resource Education center by Buncombe County Schools

and we are looking for other partners. Please let me know if you think WRC may have any interest/ability to be involved
and I can provide additional info. 255 acres at the top of Broad River Watershed.

This is what I received through the state's website; they take what you submit via the state's 401 submittal site
and send out to those who need to review - there is something perhaps with conversion - the PCN you
attached to the email to Amanda and Andrew still had the pdf'form' editing ability and it wasn't a
protected/static pdf.

I'm not sure what is happening with the PCN text, but this version looks fine from this end.
I'm also not sure what happened to the impacts table, please use the attached docs for your comments.

Hi there Joel -
I'm reviewing the Mair Driveway application and I have a few questions/comments on the application -
Note that the pdf has text written over text, making certain fields illegible (this happened with your last
PCN, too, I believe)
The impacts tables show 0.2 acre of wetland (is this a mistake?) and S1 as 20 ft of impact on a 149 ft
wide stream. The application notes 149' total impacts, but the description describes removal of a 20'
culvert, installation of a new 20' culvert plus headwalls (would there be additional impact for these?),
and 60' of impact for streambank stabilization. Can you clarify the impact numbers?
The project description notes that you'll use native permanent seeding but Figure 1 notes the use of Tall
Fescue and Bermudagrass, both of which are highly invasive — these should not be used in the riparian
area. Can you clarify about seeding in the riparian area?
