We have received the inspection report for the routine compliance evaluation completed on 6/10/2020 in
relation to our Storm Water No Exposure Certification (No. NCGNE117). We have thoroughly reviewed
and investigated the noted items in the inspection summary and offer the below responses:
1) Equipment from past industrial activity was observed exposed to precipitation. Facility personnel
are directed to remove or dispose of the equipment to maintain a status of No Exposure.
Response: The equipment identified has been removed and relocated to a precipitation
protected area at the facility.
2) Materials handling equipment was observed exposed to precipitation. Facility personnel are
directed to remove or dispose of that equipment to maintain a status of No Exposure.
Response: The material handling equipment identified has been removed and relocated to
a precipitation protected area at the facility.
3) Stacks of cardboard on pallets were observed exposed to precipitation. Facility personnel stated
that the cardboard was moved outside that day to be loaded and hauled from the facility.
Response: The cardboard stacks have been removed. The temporary outdoor staging of
scheduled cardboard pickup has been discontinued.
