Due to its small size, sludge and solids removal happens on an as -needed basis. This typically occurs once annually. When solids accumulate in the secondary clarifier, they are pumped by a local septic tank company, typically Lake Norman Sewer and Septic Services in Denver NC and disposed of accordingly.
