I was reviewing this application to determine if we had everything needed to proceed with the 401 Certification and I
realized I'm unclear based on this email as to whether you are planning on sending updated impact maps/revised plan
sheets. I sounds like you are but I don't see that we received any yet. Sorry for not quite being on top of this project.

Hi Emily, I just left you a voicemail concerning Rhodes Pond. Dam safety has provided additional comments on the
design and has decided to require rip rap wave protection along the entire length of the existing dam northeast of the
spillway. Unfortunately we did not have this information prior to the IP submittal.
I've attached an aerial showing the approximate location of the required rip rap wave protection. The rip rap will be
keyed in to closely match existing ground elevation, resulting in approx. 4 linear feet of fill below the historical pond
level elevation. We estimate this fill below that elevation will result in approx. 0.15-acres of impacts. See attached 'Pages
from Engineering Drawings' Detail 4.
I can provide revised impact maps and plan sheets, etc. The main question we have is will this require a revised public
notice and start the clock over for permit review/approval?
