As discussed at the preconstruction meeting, the methodology is a little different than what was described in the permit application because the excavation pipe will be mainly controlled by a crane. However, since a diver will be supervising the excavation at all times and will be able to have control over the operation, the safeguards requested by PRD for the protection of T&E species will still be implemented. Please let me know if you have any concerns with this change in methodology in regards to your permit and/or coordination with other resource agencies. Thanks!
