(1) Riprap needs to be removed from within FES for sand filter barrel pipe. Coordinate with
plan engineer regarding standing water in the barrel pipe and outfall.
(2) Fabric for emergency spillway needs to be anchored to dam; ensure riprap is placed
and grades established to convey runoff over the rock rather than around the outer
edges of the spillway.
(3) Riprap apron forSD inlet in the forebay needs to be lowered so that runoff flows over
the apron (rather than under the rock). Stone and debris within the SD system needs to be
removed.
Comments:
Continue to coordinate with plan engineer on submittal of certified as -built and
certification letter for the sand filter (including altered layout of the rock berm in the
forebay). O&M agreement will also be needed. Diversion entering the SE side of the pond
is beginning to erode; erosion control matting and re -seeding will be needed for
stabilization. Ensure the drainage swale flows to the basin properly (appears runoff may
be obstructed at the back left corner of the upslope lot).

Conversion of sediment basin to its permanent SCM configuration is under -way. Be sure to
coordinate with plan engineer throughout this process. Certified as -built, certification
letter, and a copy of the O&M agreement will need to be submitted to our office once
conversion is completed. If will be critical to move forward with and complete the basin
conversion in a timely manner to reduce the amount of time the basin remains in a
transitionary state.
