NARRATIVE
SEWER SYSTEM:
This public sewer system is designed to service 81 residential lots with a flow of 17,010
GPD.
A total of 755 linear feet of 2 inch, 1,712 linear feet of 3 inch, and 455 linear feet of 4
inch low pressure sewer will be installed to discharge into a proposed sanitary sewer
manhole, 25 linear feet of 8 inch gravity sewer, to a Brunswick County sewer pump
station to 300 linear feet of 4 inch sewer forcemain that will connect into an existing 12
inch sewer forcemain in Lewis Drive.
The final discharge is to an existing forcemain system. The sewer system will be owned
and maintained by Brunswick County Public Utilities.

the volume of wastewater to be permitted in this project has been evaluated along the route to the receiving
wastewater treatment facility and that the flow from this project is not anticipated to cause any capacity
related sanitary sewer overflows or overburden any downstream pump station en route to the receiving
treatment plant under normal circumstances, given the implementation of the planned improvements
identified in the planning assessment where applicable. This analysis has been performed in accordance
with local established policies and procedures using the best available data. This certification applies to
