Only the asphalt plant operations and 10-acres of land has been transferred to ST Wooten. The Morton Mine is still
active but Morton Trucking no longer owns the asphalt plant. The mine and all other Morton Trucking operations
continue. NCDENR made the decision years ago to include all onsite activities under one NPDES certificate of coverage
in lieu of having multiple permits on one site. Please let me know if we need to discuss further.

I received the Notice of Intent for the above Facility.
In your letter you mention this facility was previously owned by Morton Trucking Inc. (NCG020755).
I've attached a Rescission Request form to be completed by the prior owners in order to close the Stormwater Mining
Permit currently active on the property.
Would you be so kind as to forward this to them to complete and sent back to me.
