NCDOT inspectors James Hutchins and Justin Woody were present during the inspection. Sediment loss was self reported on August 4, 2020. Sediment loss was observed at ~ Stations L 23+50 LT, Y 479+00 RT (jurisdictional stream), and adjacent to I-40 East Bound on ramp. Sediment in these areas need to be removed/stabilized. Erosion control measures require immediate maintenance. Project was suspended by NCDOT on August 5, 2020. A follow up inspection will be scheduled for the week of August 10 to ensure compliance.
