I, Michael Fidanza of Southeastern Tool and Die, INC have received a copy of Notice of Violation/Compliance Inspection
Report issued by the NCDENR office as of 20 July 2020 and am providing the explanation of violation below:
Due to the inadequacy of maintaining compliance from 2018 to present, Southeastern Tool and Die, INC acknowledges
the non-compliance reasoning. Between 2018 and 2019, there was a failure of previous staff/management personnel
in the EHS department to maintain proper documentation of procedures needed to maintain compliance.
I, Michael Fidanza am rectifying the non-compliance by taking the following steps in the available timeline below:
20 July 2020, Notice of Violation/Compliance received from Mike Lawyer from NCDENR due to previous staff in HR/EHS
position not maintaining compliance.
28 July 2020, HR/EHS Manager Michael Fidanza ([e-mail]) takes stormwater samples as
instructed per procedure.
29 July 2020, custody of samples is handed over to Jeff Gerlock of Blue Ridge geological who will relinquish to
Meritech Labs. (Cobtact: [e-mail]) (Contact: [e-mail])
30 July 2020, HR/EHS Manager Michael Fidanza receives the manifest and detail for the use of personal record. From
this date,
it will be approximately two weeks to receive the results of the metal testing of storm water.
30 July 2020, pending stormwater plan and multiple schematics. These are in the works and will be ready prior to the
end of August. Pending exact date.
