Subject: RE: [External] Regulatory Relief & TSS Abatement Fontaine Modifications
Based on my site inspection today I can grant monitoring relief in exchange for a TTS abatement plan (compost socks or
fiber wattles at outfalls 1 & 2, monthly inspection and maintenance, inspection after 1" rain events and submittal of an
annual inspection and maintenance report). I will issue letter after you have submitted an approvable TTS abatement
plan. Please call if questions.

Mr. Moore,
Thanks so much for your time today. Attached are the current results for Fontaine Modification
Company's stormwater program. We have not yet sampled for July, we are waiting to see if we get a
sufficient flow in the next few days.
Please review the results and let me know if Fontaine can stop monthly monitoring? If so, what will we be
required to do? You mentioned TSS abatement and the Filtrex Socks. I await your response and we will
proceed accordingly.
Thank you again for your time today and your assistance with this matter.

compost socks or wattles would be suitable for TSS abatement for both outfalls.
