All City facilities have the potential to generate pollutants. Pollutants making contact with
snowfall, rainfall and site drainage contaminate the runoff discharged to City streets and
streams. Facility managers are responsible for developing proper procedures for daily activities
and establishing schedules for maintenance & inspections of their respective sites to control all
potential contaminants.
Refer to the table below for a list of departments and operations and associated best
management practices. Maintenance & inspection schedules for each facility and activity are
provided.
