Stream S1 is an intermittent channel that is very incised and degraded/eroded.
The stream originates outside of the project study area boundary and flows
across NC 54. Stream S1 has continuous baseflow likely due to recent
precipitation. Frogs were observed throughout the channel of stream S1.
