Cecil — this permit renewal is being drafted by Yu Liu, one of our new permit writers.
As you can see from the old permit [attached] the permittee should have collected one sample of Total Mercury at the
effluent during the last permit cycle. The Division doesn't have a record of the sample. It may have been collected and
the data was not submitted, or it may have been submitted and we simply missed it.
Please check the facility records and see when / if the sample was collected. We can't complete the permit renewal
without it.
If you can't find a record of the sample, please have the permittee collect one and submit the results by August 7tn
Also if you have email addresses for Mr. Moye or the ORC (Mr. Kuipers), please share those. I would have emailed them
directly, but we don't have email addresses for either person.
As I mentioned, Yu Liu is handling this renewal. Send your responses to her directly — her email address is copied above.
