improvements to reroute wastewater from the outfall to the MSD discharge. Attached is a letter signed by the Site
Manager, an email from MSD accepting our wastewater, and a Process Flow Diagram of the improvements made to
reroute wastewater to MSD. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Mr. Denard,
Low and Bonar are informing you that we request withdrawal of our wastewater permit request application
(NC0089834). The waters previously discharged to the wastewater outfall have been routed to the MSD
Sewer discharge. This was approved by Shannon Bergeron, Buncombe County MSD, in April 2019.
Connections, piping and tanks to divert discharge from wastewater outfall to MSD were completed in July
2019. Attached to this letter is a process flow diagram of the changes that were completed and an email
from Buncombe County MSD confirming acceptance of our discharge. If you have any questions please
feel free to contact our HSES Manager, Tom Buller, at 828-707-5805

Derek,
MSD has approved a maximum of 30,000 gallons per day of non -contact cooling water from Low & Bonar, located at 1301 Sand Hill Road. Low & Bonar is
required to properly operate and maintain an effluent flow meter with a minimum of annual calibrations from a contract firm. Low & Bon is required to submit
monthly effluent flow meter readings to MSD's billing department for proper billing (iodyP@msdbc.orP) as well as the annual calibration to the pretreatment
department.
Please note that MSD does not typically approve non -contact cooling water as it is considered uncontaminated water by the MSD. Please feel free to contact
me if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Shannon
