The rock causeway will be 18ft wide and 40 ft long. There are no wetlands in the project area. I have included a photo of the area. The slopes are very steep (2 : 1) and there is no other option to get repairs accomplished. I will have it put in the contract, and, you can also condition the use of clean, washed stone to be utilized in the placement of the rock causeway. The scour repair will be at the four piles on the right, in the photo. Jim James J. The drawing is a little difficult to comprehend, so I guess I need it spelled out. What are the dimensions of 1 stream being temporarily impacted (25’X43’)? Are there wetlands adjacent to the stream? If so, will they be impacted and how much by the temporary construction access? Is there fill going to be brought in to construct the temporary construction access outside the stream? Are there any other potential wetland impacts? I am assuming that the stream will be running through the riprap and that there will not be a pump around. Will the riprap be washed prior to placing in the stream, to limit the amount of initial turbidity caused by water flowing through it? Lastly, what are the surface dimensions of the scour holes to be filled and are the estimated quantities for both scours?.
