Upon reviewing the report you will notice that our outfall location is above the benchmark range for total suspended solids which requires us to perform"Tier two" according to the permit. We have conducted a stormwater inspection of our facility since the sampling period and have potentially identified some possible causes of the exceedance of the established benchmark. We will implement some operational control measures for the parameter's of concern, with the anticipation of bringing the concentration's within regulatory limit. We will begin to perform monthly monitoring/reporting for all parameters beginning in July 2020 and follow the Tier Two permit process. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me. Ri/Yes ❑ No Please verify whether Qualitative Monitoring must be performed during a "representative storm event"or"measureable storm event"(requirements vary, depending on the permit). Qualitative monitoring requirements vary. Most permits require qualitative monitoring to be performed during a"representative storm event"or during a"measureable storm event." However, some permits do not have this requirement. Please refer to these definitions,if applicable. A"representative storm event"is a storm event that measures greater than 0.1 inches of rainfall and that is preceded by at least 72 hours (3 days) in which no storm event measuring greater than 0.1 inches has occurred. A single storm event may contain up to 10 consecutive hours of no precipitation. A"measurable storm event"is a storm event that results in an actual discharge from the permitted site outfall. The previous measurable storm event must have been at least 72 hours prior. The 72-hour storm interval does not apply if the permittee is able to document that a shorter interval is representative for local storm events during the sampling period, and the permittee obtains approval from the local DWQ Regional Office. Page 20 of 23 Q www.encolabs.com FLAGS/NOTES AND DEFINITIONS B The analyte was detected in the associated method blank. D The sample was analyzed at dilution. The reported value is between the laboratory method detection limit(MDL)and the laboratory method reporting limit(MRL),adjusted for actual sample preparation data and moisture content, where applicable. U The analyte was analyzed for but not detected to the level shown, adjusted for actual sample preparation data and moisture content, where applicable. E The concentration indicated for this analyte is an estimated value above the calibration range of the instrument. This value is considered an estimate. MRL Method Reporting Limit. The MRL is roughly equivalent to the practical quantitation limit(PQL)and is based on the low point of the calibration curve, when applicable, sample preparation factor, dilution factor, and, in the case of soil samples, moisture content. PQL PQL: Practical Quantitation Limit. The PQL presented is the laboratory MRL N The analysis indicates the presence of an analyte for which there is presumptive evidence(85%or greater confidence)to make a"tentative identification". P Greater than 25%concentration difference was observed between the primary and secondary GC column. The lower concentration is reported. [CALC] Calculated analyte-MDL/MRL reported to the highest reporting limit of the component analyses. A-07 Analyte biased low in LCS but detected in the reporting limit standard.Since the analyte in the associated sample was not detected, there is no impact on data quality. 3-06 The associated laboratory control sample exhibited low bias; the reported result should be considered to be a minimum estimate. QM-07 The spike recovery was outside acceptance limits for the MS and/or MSD. The batch was accepted based on acceptable LCS recovery. QM-08 Post-digestion spike did not meet method requirements due to confirmed matrix effects(dilution test). QR-05 The RPD value for the sample duplicate or MS/MSD was outside of QC acceptance limits. QS-03 Surrogate recovery outside acceptance limits FINAL This report relates only to the sample as received by the laboratory, and may only be reproduced in full. Page 21 of 23 .
