As sludge and other solids are generated at this facility, they are periodically removed by a
contractor, L & L Environmental, and transported to Charlotte Mecklenburg Utilities.
Other contractors are available should L & L Environmental be unable to meet a schedule.

I appreciate the opportunity to review the subject draft NPDES permit and have included my response below in bold to
satisfy the new paperless standards.
I concur with issuance of the above permit as I have no appreciable expertise in implementation of the Clean Water
Act requirements and have minimal understanding of the information provided. As a result, I have no basis for
opposing the permit.
(There are no public water supply raw water intakes that are located downstream in North Carolina.)

sin. This discharge may affect future wasteload allocations in this portion of the receiving
stream. Wells Fargo, N.A. has requested renewal of its NPDES permit for the Wells Fargo Try-
on Street Groundwater Remediation (NC0088226) for discharging treated wastewater to an un-
named tributary to Uttle Sugar Creek in the Catawba River Basin. This discharge may affect fu-
ture wasteload allocations in this portion of the receiving stream.
