The request to temporarily impact wetlands to install a tower may not be necessary. It appears from the plans
that the wetland areas are not in direct alignment with the tower install or staging area. It appears impacts
could be avoided by flagging, using sedimentation and erosion control practices, and not allowing those
areas to be used during staging and construction. This would minimize risk of soil compaction and loss of
vegetation. If the temporary impacts are allowed, grade and vegetation should be returned to pre -project
conditions.
