Dear Ms. Beasley:
The Washington Regional Office received a Coastal Stormwater Permit Application for Marshy
Ridge Retreat project on October 6, 2011 and additional information on December 14, 2011. A
preliminary review of that information has determined that the application is not complete. The
following information is needed to continue the stormwater review:
The Secretary of State Corporations Database shows Marshy Ridge Retreat,
LLC status as Administratively Dissolved (as of January 3, 2012). The
stormwater permit cannot be issued until the status is changed to Active. Please
inform us when the status changes.
The requested information should be received in this Office prior to February 3, 2012, or the
application will be returned as incomplete. The return of a project will necessitate resubmittal of
all required items, including the application fee.
If you need additional time to submit the information, please mail, email or fax your request for
a time extension to the Division at the address and fax number at the bottom of this letter. The
request must indicate the date by which you expect to submit the required information.
The construction of any impervious surfaces, other than a construction entrance under an
approved Sedimentation Erosion Control Plan, is a violation of NCGS 143-215.1 and is subject
to enforcement action pursuant to NCGS 143-215.6A.

Dear Ms. Beasley:
The Washington Regional Office received a Coastal Stormwater Permit Application for Marshy
Ridge Retreat project on October 6, 2011. A preliminary review of that information has
determined that the application is not complete. The following information is needed to
continue the stormwater review:
1. In Accordance with the Session law 2008-211, Senate Bill 1967, Section
2.(b)(3)b.5....no impervious area shall be placed within 50' from the mean high
waterline of tidal waters, for new development activities. From the submitted
plans it appears that gravel trailer pads number 1-6 are located closer than 50'
from surface water. Please revise the plans accordingly.
2. Provide two copies of revised sheet.
The requested information should be received in this Office prior to December 28, 2011, or the
application will be returned as incomplete. The return of a project will necessitate resubmittal of
all required items, including the application fee.
If you need additional time to submit the information, please mail, email or fax your request for
a time extension to the Division at the address and fax number at the bottom of this letter. The
request must indicate the date by which you expect to submit the required information.
The construction of any impervious surfaces, other than a construction entrance under an
approved Sedimentation Erosion Control Plan, is a violation of NCGS 143-215.1 and is subject
to enforcement action pursuant to NCGS 143-215.6A.
