LIMESTONE AND FERTILIZER MAY BE APPLIED AS PART OF THE SEEDBED PREPARATION, PROVIDED IT IS WORKED INTO THE SOIL. IF NOT SO APPLIED, LIMESTONE AND FERTILIZER SHALL BE DISTRIBUTED UNIFORMLY OVER THE PREPARED SEEDBED AT THE SPECIFIED RATE OF APPLICATION AND THEN HARROWED, RAKED, OR OTHERWISE THOROUGHLY WORKED INTO THE SEEDBED. MAINTENANCE AREAS WHERE SEEDING AND MULCHING HAVE BEEN PERFORMED SHALL BE MAINTAINED IN SATISFACTORY CONDITION UNTIL ACCEPTANCE OF THE PROJECT BY THE OWNER.
