Subject: Tractor Supply Approvals
At its Board of Commissioners meeting on Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, the board approved a Special
Intensity Allocation from the watershed to allow Tractor Supply to build on 60% of the 3.5 acre parcel
using Best Management Practices to minimize water quality impact.
The board also approved a waiver of the parking space requirements allowing Tractor Supply to have the
64 spaces instead of the required 76.
The only thing we will need before you start construction is a Zoning/Watershed Compliance Permit filled
out and the fee is $30. You must have that permit before you can get any building permits from Moore
County. I can fax you the form when you are ready to fill it out. You will also need a sign permit and the
fee is $50 per sign. The requlations regarding signs can be viewed on our website in the Zoning
Ordinance starting on page 160. 1 can email a copy of this form.
We look forward to having Tractor Supply as a new business in the Town of Vass.
