CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE
1.Obtain a Iqnd-disturbing permit.
2. Install gravel construction pod, lernporary diversions, slit
fencing sediment basins or other measures as shown an the
approved plan. Clear only as gecessory to install these devices.
Seed temporary diversions, berms and basins immediotely after
construction.
3. Call NCDENR for on site inspection by Environmental
Inspector and obtain Certificate of Complfonce.
4. Begin Clearing and grubbing. Maintain devices as needed.
Rough grade site.
5. Instollstorm sewer fit shown) and protect inlets with silt
fencing, sediment traps or other approved measures as
shown on the plan. Bagin Constructing building etc.
6• Stabilize Site as areas are brought up to finish grode with
vegetation, paving, ditch linings, etc.
7. When construction is complete and all areas are stabilized
completely. Call for inspection by Environmental Inspector.
B. If site Is Gpproved, remove temporary diversions, silt fencing,
sediment basins, etc., and seed out or pave any resulting
bare areas. All remaining permanent erosion control davicee
{such as velocity dissipators) should be installed now.
9, When vegetation has become aslablIshed, call for final
site inspection by environmental Inspector.
10. Obtain a Certificate of Completion.
11. For allnon-slope areas, temporary stobilization must occur
within 14 working daysand permanent stabilization must occur
within 15 working/90 calendar days, whichever is shorter.
Vegetation to be eslablishad an 3.1 or greater slopes within 7
calendar days or sooner of completion of any phase of
groding activities.

Water Note:
Pipeline shall be pressure tested between each main line
valve in accordance with AWWA C-600-87. The test shall be
performed using a suitable pump and an accurate pressure
gauge. Immediately upon completion of a section of main,
200 psi (t 5 psi) of pressure shall be applied and held for
two hours. The acceptable leakage rate shall not exceed
.092 gallons per inch of pipe diameter per 1,000 feet of pipe
per hour.
Failure of the water main to comply with the above
acceptable leakage rate, shall require the contractor to
replace any defective materials to insure a watertight
installation. After any inadequacies have been corrected, the
leakage rate will again be tested. This test shall be repeated
until that portion of main is brought to compliance with the
permissible leakage rate.
All lines shall be chlorinated, tested and flushed prior to
being placed in service.
Contractor shall be responsible for providing a
back flow preventer Inside each unit.
