Horseheads Metal Products has requested approval of the following chemicals, Brommax 7.1
and WDC-310. These products will be discharged into their Outfall 001 and in to the Broad
River.
Calculations predict the use of these products, at the stated dosage rate, will not cause toxic
impacts to aquatic life in the receiving stream, Broad River. Therefore, the use of this product as
an additive to their cooling water system at Horseheads Metal Products is acceptable.
