Ammons Ammons Development Group 10405-G Ligon Mill Road RaLigh,NC 27587 Subject Property: Traditions Subdivision—Phase 1 Ut to Hatters Branch [030402,'27-23-4, C,NSW] REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION Dear Mr. Ammons: On October 15,2009,the Division of Water Quality(DWQ)received your application dated October 15, 2009,to fill or otherwise impact 132 linear feet of perennial stream and 400 linear feet of intermittent stream, 3,748 square feet of Zone 1 Neuse River protected riparian buffers,and 3,447 square feet of Zone 2 Neuse River protected riparian buffers to construct the proposed mixed use development at the site. On December 22,2009,the DWQ received additional information from you,however,the DWQ has determined that your application remains incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will require additional information in order to process your application to impact protected wetlands and/or streams on the subject property. Therefore, unless we receive five copies of the additional information requested below,we will have to move toward denial of your application as required by 15A NCAC 2H .0506 and will place this project on hold as incomplete until we receive this additional information. Please provide the following information so that we may continue to review your project. Additional Information Requested: 1. Per the requirements of the NC Stormwater BMP Manual and the Neuse Riparian Buffer Rule, the outlet structures from wet detention ponds I and N must be discharged through a correctly designed level spreader. Level spreader design requirements are set forth in Chapter 8 of the North Carolina Stormwater BMP Manual. Please provide one Level Spreader Supplement Form for each proposed level spreader, including the Required Items checklist and all items listed therein. The BMP Manual and Supplement Forms are available at: http://portal.ncdenr.or web/wq/ws/suibmp-manual. 2. Please provide a full-size plans at a scale of 1"=60' or larger showing the entire site design with its storm drainage system, including conveyance devices and BMPs and one foot topographic contours. 3.
