Inspection Summary:
The site was inspected following a 5-day follow-up notification of a wastewater discharge, which wasreceived by the Division
of Water Resources and sent to the Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources on June 23, 2020.
On June 29, 2020, the area of the spill and downstream outfalls were inspected. The inspection revealed that the corrective
actions taken and summarized in the June 22, 2020 letter from Tyson resulted in no ongoing stormwater compliance issues.
BMP's have been updated and implemented to prevent spills of this nature in the future and to prevent discharges if they do
occur.
