OF ENERGY, MINERAL AND LAND RESOURCES' INTENT TO ISSUE THE FOLLOWING STORMWATER DISCHARGE PERMITS The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR) invites public comment on, or objections to, the following NPDES Industrial Stormwater General Permits to be revised and re -issued. The public comment period begins at 9:00 am on 7/15/2020 and ends at 5:00 pm on 8/14/2020. Persons wishing to comment on or object may submit written comments to the address below during the public comment period. All comments received during the public comment period will be considered in the final determinations regarding permit issuance. Public comments may result in changes to the proposed permitting actions. All comments should reference the specific permit number listed below. • NCG020000 for Mining Operations, proposed issuance date 9/30/2020 • NCG190000 for Marinas, proposed issuance date 9/30/2020 • NCG250000 for Construction Activities not subject to the NC Sediment Pollution Control Act, proposed issuance date 9/30/2020 (a new NPDES Industrial Stormwater General Permit).
