Loflin Dairy Phase II Bank Parcel Credit Release - Task 2
Dear Mr. Wilkerson:
On February 25, 2020, the Division of Water Resources (DWR) received documentation from
Wildlands Holdings V, LLC (Wildlands) that the subject site had been planted and constructed in its
entirety and monitoring plots had been installed. On March 19, 2020, Katie Merritt with DWR, with
assistance from Andrea Eckardt with Wildlands, inspected the site and confirmed that the subject site
had been completely planted and all monitoring plots installed. Additionally, the conservation
easement boundary was adequately marked with the exception of a few areas that needed additional
markers.
Lastly, DWR received a performance bond (#107063169) from Wildlands in the amount of
$150,000 to cover performance obligations for the construction of the subject site. This bond is
with Travelers Casualty and Surety Company of America and expires upon the approval of the
As -Built Report.
In accordance with the UMBI signed on April 23, 2019, the following Project Milestones have
been met and the corresponding credits shall be released:

By copy of this correspondence, DWR confirms that you have satisfied the above requirements
for the above -referenced site and therefore, 20% of your Randleman buffer Restoration,
Enhancement and Preservation credits (0.20 x 360,676.80 ft2 = 72,135.36 ft2) are now
available to sell.
Please note that the riparian buffer credits must be used for impacts in the Randleman
Lake Watershed according to guidelines in the Consolidated Buffer Mitigation Rule,15A
NCAC 0213.0295, which became effective on November 1, 2015.
