The NPDES permit for The Hideaways WWTP facility expires on June 30, 2020. Federal (40 CFR 122)
and state (15A NCAC 2H.0105 (e)) regulations require that permit renewal applications be filed at least
180 days prior to expiration of the current permit. Your renewal application was due to the Division no
later than January 2, 2020.
To date, the Division has not received a renewal application. Complete and submit the attached form as
soon as possible.
If no renewal application is received by June 30, 2020, the NPDES permit will expire and
become INACTIVE. Any discharge after 613012020 would be ILLEGAL without receipt of a permit
renewal application.
