Blasting and mechanical methods of rock removal are anticipated. The duration of these operations will
be determined upon rock location, depth, and hardness. The contractor will perform blasting along the
pipeline corridor (where allowed) in the early stages of the project for the full length of the alignment.
Areas where rock removal is required but not allowed, mechanical methods will be used.
