This morning at around 9:00 am, we had a Big Boy sack to rip open will trying to move it for pick up. It was
approximately 30% full. The contents are rain water and UCI- Flocculant 2003. I was immediately called by
Everest Maintenance crew and arrived in 5 minutes to supervise clean up.
Attached you will see the waste from our weave department that we used to clean up the spill, among other
pictures. (Before and after pictures.) The spill was near a storm water drain and between 6 to 10 gallons, by
estimation, dropped through the drain before we could contain the spill.
The UCI-Flocculant 2003, has no Environmental Hazards, according to the company Safety Data Sheet.
Also, in the OSHA book under, CRF 1910.1200 it states, the manufacture lists no ingredients as being Hazardous.
But, at Everest we treat any spill with veneration.
