The letter requests approval of a residential flow value of 250 GPD/residence for any future dwellings that may become tributary to the subject wastewater collection system. The Division also received additional information on April 3, 2001 The information provided flow records between January 1998 and November 2000 for the WWTP. The evaluation also included the daily wastewater flows for a 33 day period from February 19 through March 23, 2001 for a select 97 homes in accordance with 15A NCAC 2H .0219(l)(3). Based upon the information submitted, the Division hereby approves the use of 250 GPD per single- family residence in all applicable non -discharge permit applications for future sewer line extensions for the Town of Clayton. This consideration applies to any applicable future projects submitted to the Division as well as any projects which are currently under review. Regardless of the_adjusted design daily wastewater flow rat% at no time shall the wastewater flows exceed the effluent limits defined in the Town's NPDES oermit for the treatment facility_or exceed_the_capacity of the sewers downstream of any new sewer extension. The permit was issued for 1551f of 8" sewer main. With considering after the fact requested changes by the Town for the sewer main, the total length increased from 1551f to 185If which is greater than a 10% increase from the original permit. There is no change in the permitted flow. This modified application is for an extension of the gravity sewer system of the Town of Clayton to serve Amelia Point. This extension will add approximately 301f of 8" gravity sewer to the previously approved 1551f of 8" sewer main under permit WQ0041418 and will connect to an existing Town of Clayton gravity sewer system. The sewer system will serve 18 townhomes in this proposed subdivision, which is the basis for flow for this project.
