We did a targeted walk of areas of concern. UT2-1 - This E2 Reach looked fine. Privet was treated, a few resprouts were observed that should be retreated. The sill at the bottom of the reach had been replaced/lowered and appears stable. Flow was observed. UT2-2 - The pond bottom had a defined channel with flow. Two structures were observed. There was a nice riffle/pool at the cross-section (not entirely representative of the whole reach). The channel bank was live staked, which were sprouting. The floodplain was supplemental planted with a mix of container trees and live stakes. Mac noted he would've like to see more container size plants. As a result of high flows, the super dense grass layer has laid over and covered many of the live stakes. We are concerned about the survivability and requested that random transects be done in the fall. DMS mentioned wanting to keep on track for final credit release. But stem density and vigor of the supplemental planting area will likely be a discussion point. UT2-3 - Clusters of Polygonum /Persicaria were observed in and along the stream channel, more so in the few areas that weren't being shaded out. DWR supports spraying only if the majority of the reach is inundated with the wetland veg, if not then we recommend continuing to watch for interference with channel features/flow. UT2-A - Flow observed. Buffer veg ok. UT1-3 - Supplemental planting area looked fine. Stream channel looked good, flow was observed. UT1-C - Veg density and vigor are fine. More bacccharis observed. Stream channel was stable and had flow. Overall - Stream channels observed appeared stable and had flow. Buffer veg density and vigor generally looked ok. Privet treatments need to continue regularly. Pond bottom woody veg establishment is still a concern and random transects should be completed this fall. DWR is ok with credit release. Please me know if you have any questions. Many thanks, Erin Davis Get Outlook for 10S <Blockedhttps://aka.ms/oOukef> I :elf
