NPDES Permit No. NCO028711

I am requesting the renewal of NPDES Permit No. NCO028711 to continue to operate
the waste water treatment plant (WWTP) at Benyhill School. No structural changes have
been made to the WWTP since the current permit was issued. In addition to the permit
renewal, I am also requesting the removal of monitoring and reporting of dissolved oxygen
and temperature from the upstream and downstream effluent location from the permit. The
area we are monitoring from is beginning to be developed and we will likely need to relocate
to a new area. The change in location will push us further away from the effluent discharge
location.
Sincerely,

Ms. Litzenberger and Ms. Kaufman,
I appreciate the opportunity to review the subject draft NPDES permit and have included my response below in bold to
satisfy the new paperless standards.
I concur with issuance of the above permit as I have no appreciable expertise in implementation of the Clean Water
Act requirements and have minimal understanding of the information provided. As a result, I have no basis for
opposing the permit.
(There are no public water supply raw water intakes that are located downstream in North Carolina.)
If you have any questions or need any additional information, please let me know.
Thanks,
