Work will be performed from water using a long reach mechanical bucket dredge that will excavate the spoils and place them directly into hopper barges. LKN Dredging and Marine Construction will unload at 4561 Slanting Bridge Rd, Sherrill's Ford, NC 28673 then all material is taken to their Dredge Spoil Site located at Lot #15 Sugar Wood Lane, Denver, NC 28037. Disposal area acreage is approximately .8 acres. Shown from Google Earth Wind & Water Development LLC personal dock, the pier will be removed and dredged involving mechanical removal of approximately 222 cubic yards of sediment from shoreline.
