How wide will the planted/preserved buffer be on the 2 reconstructed channels? 2. My understanding is that a dam will be constructed. There is no indication the pond and dam design. Can you provide details? I am particularly interested in knowing if a coldwater release is incorporated into the pond design. 3. It appears that very little riparian vegetation exists on Norton Prong itself. Native brook trout inhabit Norton Prong, and we strongly recommend and request that a native woody buffer of at least 30 ft in width be planted on Norton Prong. Can this be incorporated? 4. Can you provide an additional plan overview figure, with the limits of the new pond, dam, reconstructed streams and their buffers, wetland impacts and restored area? There are some figures provided, but none of them provide all of this information.
