These impacts are covered under Water Quality General Certification No. 4132. Permanent stream impacts are below 40 linear feet, therefore written approval is not required provided adherence to the conditions in GC 4132 which can be found at the following link: https://fi les. nc.gov/ncdeq/Water% 20Qual itv/Surface / 20Water/ 20Protection/401/Certs / 20a nd / 20Perm its/2017-Rcs- 4000s/GC4132. pdf This activity is considered a road crossing in the table of uses under the Neuse Buffer Rules [15A NCAC 213.0233 (6)].
