J eff,
Attached is the updated C503.
You may want to your narrative of reducing impacts that "multiple culverts are being proposed to
assist with reducing the overall fill height and associated impacted areas as well as provide better
distribution of connectivity of flows through the wetland areas"
I assume the phone conference is still on today

Good Morning,
Of course. I guess we were thinking it was similar to the way we considered stream impacts. Would you like Mike to
revise the drawings to include the aprons, on the access roads, as permanent impacts. The total mitigation acreage
will stay the same, since the aprons were included in the total impacts.
Thank You,

Jeff,
A point of clarification, the placement of stone within a wetland would be considered a permanent
impact.

Good Evening Anthony,
I hope you had a good day today. The temporary impacts refer to the rip rap aprons on the upstream and
downstream sides of the culverts on the access roads. There will be no roadside swales, and the roads will be built
according to the drawings, or in a but more detail, by laying pipe and geotextile fabric down prior to filling,
compacting, and stoning. The work will be done during dry periods, when any flow that may occur is minimal.

Jeff,
Could you clarify the temporary wetland impacts associated with access roads? No information was
provided regarding the justification or construction method. You will also need to provide details
regarding the road side swales within the wetlands.

Based on the permanent proposed impacts being less than 300 linear, no stream mitigation will be
required while utilizing the Water Quality General Certification Number 4135 for project eligible for
