SUBJECT: Coastal Area Management Act (CAMA) Permit Application Submittal for
Carteret Community College, in Carteret County
Dear Mr. Wade:
This letter is in response to the above referenced CAMA permit application for Carteret
Community College, which was accepted as complete by the Division's Morehead City office on
March 16, 2020. On May 22, 2020, processing of your application was placed on hold pending
resolution of a Submerged Aquatic Vegetation (SAV) survey and approval. This office received
the SAV survey and subsequent redesign of the project on June 17, 2020. Therefore, processing
of your permit application has officially resumed. The revised projected 75-day deadline for
making a decision is June 25, 2020.
