This office has reviewed the subject Sedimentation and Erosion Control Permit Application.
We fluid the application to be acceptable and hereby issue this letter of approval. If any
stipulations or recommendations are applicable, a list is attachied and is incorporated as a part
of this letter of approval. Pursuant to Section 3.8.5 oftlu' Durham City -County U14fled
Development Ordinance, plans, f or which no permit hers been issued shall expire one year
• from the approval date.
Please be advised that a copy of the approval plan must be on file at the job site, and a land -
disturbing permit must be obtained and prominently displayed. Pursuant to G.S 113d.-61 (d)
and Section 15..5.1 ofthe Durham City -County Unified Development Ordinance, you are
hereby notified that the Sedimentation and Erosion Control Offir..e has the right to inspect the
site over the life of the prr iect to insure compliance with the approved plan and ordinance.
The Sedimentation and Erosion Control Program is performance oriented, requiring
protection of the natural resources and adjoining properties. If following the commencement
of this project it is determined that the sedimentation and erosion control plan is inadequate
to meet the requirements of the Durham City -County Unificol Development Ordinance, this
office may require revisions in the plan and its implementation to ensure compliance with the
Ordinance.
Pursuant to Section 12. l0.6 of the Durham City -County Unifeed Development Ordinance,
prior to initiating land -disturbing activity, the parson conducting such activity mast notify the

As of April 1, 2019, all new construction activities are required to complete and submit an
electronic Notice o lntcnt: (NOt) form requesting a Certificate of Coverage (COC) under the
NC6010000 Construction Stormwater General Permit. This lbrm MUST be submitted prior
to the commencement ol'any land disturbing; activity on the above -named project. The NO[

You submit a complete and correct NO[ Form, a COC will be emailed to you within three
business days. There is a $100 annual fee for coverage. This fee is to be sent to the DEWR
Stormwater Central Office staff in Raleigh.
Title 15A NCAC 413.011 8(fi) turd the NC601 permit require that the following
documentation be kept on file at the joh site:
1. The approved F.,&SC plan as well ati any approved deviation.
2. The NCG01 permit and the COC, once it is received.
3. Records of inspections made during the previous 30 days.
It should also he noted that approval of an erosion control plan does not in any way
indicate approval of, or authorization to begin installation of Stormwater infrastructure
without City/County approved Construction Drawings.
