NPDES Stormwater Discharge Monitoring Report for:
Dan River Combined Cycle Station — NC000572 — Rockingham County
In accordance with Part 111, E(2) of the above referenced NPDES Stormwater permit, the original
and one copy of the Year 4-Period 2 semiannual monitoring report for Outfall SW001, SWO09
and SWO10 are enclosed. The period for sampling ends on December 31, 2019. Outfalls were
sampled on August 14, 2019 and August 16, 2019. Outfall SWO10 is pumped to its discharge
location and it took a total of 3 rain events from August 13-151h to acquire enough water which
was pumped on August 16, 2019. The reports were issued on September 4, 2019 and
September 9, 2019.
Outfalls SW003, SW003A, SW003B, SW004, SW005, SW006, and SW011 were physically
removed during the Fall 2017. NCDEQ WSRO sent a letter dated January 29, 2018 stating
these outfalls now sheet flow and therefore are no longer in the permit. Outfalls SW007,
SWO07A and SW008 were removed from the permit in a letter from NCDEQ WSRO dated July
14, 2017 due to the lack of industrial activity in the drainage area.
