In accordance with Part III, E(2) of the above referenced NPDES Storm Water permit, the original and one
copy of the monthly monitoring reports for the outfalls that have been classified as Tier 2 or Tier 3 and are
now subject to monthly sampling, are attached. The period for sampling ended on January 31, 2019.
Enclosed is the DMR for outfalls SW001, SW007, SW009, SW010, SW016, SW018 and SW020.There
were no samples collected from these outfalls and are listed as "No Flow" for the sampling period. This was
due to either nighttime rainfall events or lack of qualifying rainfall events.

In accordance with Part III, E(2) of the above referenced NPDES Storm water permit, the
original and one copy of the quarterly monitoring reports for Year 4 — Period 2 are attached. The
period for sampling ended on December 31, 2018.
Outfalls SWO01A, SW008, SW013-7, SW013-8, SW013-9, SW013-10, SW013-11, SW013-12,
SW013-13, SW013-14 and SW013-15 are listed as "No Flow" during the period. Samples were
not collected from these outfalls due to night time rainfall events, inclement weather or lack of
qualifying rainfall events during the period.

In accordance with Part III, E(2) of the above referenced NPDES Storm Water permit, the
original and one copy of the monthly monitoring reports are attached. The samples collected are
required monthly due to Tier Two or Tier Three Status. The period for sampling ended
December 31, 2018.
Samples were collected on December 20, 2018. Samples for the following outfalls were
collected: SW001, SW002, SW003, SW007, SW009, SW010, SW016, SW018 and SW020.
The laboratory results were received on January 10, 2019. Analytes sampled above the
benchmark values for analytical monitoring are as follows. Duke Energy has performed the
steps required by the Tier Two and will perform the steps required by Tier Three status
for these outfalls.

Allen Steam Station — NCS000546 — Gaston County
In accordance with Part III, E(2) of the above referenced NPDES Storm Water permit, the
original and one copy of the monthly monitoring reports are attached. The samples collected are
required monthly due to Tier Two or Tier Three Status. The period for sampling ended
November 30, 2018.
Samples were collected on November 2, 2018. Samples for the following outfalls were
collected: SW001, SW005, SW007, SW009, SWO10, SWO16, SW018 and SW020. The
laboratory results were received on November 25, 2018. Analytes sampled above the
benchmark values for analytical monitoring are as follows. Duke Energy has performed the
steps required by the Tier Two and will perform the steps required by Tier Three status
for these outfalls.
