(Shield) successfully collected a monthly stormwater sample for Stormwater Discharge Outfall (SDO) #004 and a semi-annual sample for SDO ##005 at the CIRCOR Pumps North America LLC — Monroe facility on January 7, 2020. The pH was measured at 6.7 and 6.1 at SDO 4004 and #005, respectively. Total event precipitation was 0.09 inches. In addition to collection of samples, Shield performed Qualitative Monitoring at both SDOs (attached). Shield has prepared the Stormwater Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) using the results of analyses from the commercial laboratory that the CIRCOR facility has contracted with and the field values indicated above. The attached DMR should be signed by CIRCOR's authorized representative and then two signed copies of the DMR form should be mailed to the regulatory agency's Central Files. The sampling results from the January Ts event show that CIRCOR has not exceeded any benchmark ,concentrations. CIRCOR remains in "Pier Three for Copper and Zinc at SDO #004. Shield will continue to perform monthly sampling for SDO #004 per Tier Two requirements until instructed to halt by CIRCOR. Shield greatly appreciates the opportunity to provide environmental services to CIRCOR. (Shield) successfully collected monthly Stormwater samples for Stormwater Discharge Outfalls (SDO) 4004 and #005 at the CIRCOR Pumps North America LLC — Monroe facility for the month of November 2019. The pH was measured at 7.4 and 6.8 at SDO #004 and 9005, respectively. Total event precipitation was 0.06 inches. In addition to collection of samples, Shield performed Qualitative Monitoring at both SDOs (attached). During the Qualitative Monitoring, an oil sheen and odor was observed at SDO 9004. However, laboratory results for oil and grease are below the benchmark. For SDO #004, the laboratory performed matrix spikes and/or matrix spike duplicates (MSIMSD) on the collected samples. The percent recoveries and relative percent recoveries were outside Quality Control limits for: Gamma -Chlordane, 2-Chloronaphthalene, Fluorene, Phenanthrene, Methylene Chloride and TSS. Shield reached out to the laboratory, and their QA department, and has concluded that the analyses are representative. The results are reported in the DMR.
