In accordance with the state NPDES general permit number
NCG020000,,Marine Corps Installations East -Marine Corps Base
Camp Lejeune (MCIEAST-MCB CAMLEJ) forwards a Limit Violation
Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) for quarter 4 of calenda'rlyear
2013. The report includes monitoring results for MCIEAST-MC.B
CAMLEJ's Base Entry Road borrow pits 4 and 7, certificates cf
coverage,NCG02D827 and NCG020828. Enclosure (1) contains the
Limit Violation DMR.
Per the NCG020000, the daily maximum pH range is 6.0-9A .
The samples collected for borrow pit 4 and borrow pit 7 were
slightly below this range at 5.8 and 5.2. The limit violation is
believed to be due to natural groundwater conditions based cff
of low pH results in additional groundwater sampling conducted
aboard the installation. This information will be providedlupon
request.

Discharge Outfall. Alternatively, the permittee may choose to munitur turbidity in the receiving water, directly upstream and downstream of the SDO.
