Inspection Summary:
Site visit conducted in response to submittal of No Exposure Certification (NEC) application. Met with Dustin Canady,
Environmental Coordinator. Some used/broken pallets are stored outside on paved area, however they are used solely by
Elkay when new. No obvious contaminants/pollutants observed on the pallets and they are stored in an area where there are
no drains or stormwater outfalls. Some used equipment from the manufacturing plant located across the road stored outside
for parts. According to Mr. Canady, the equipment is thoroughly cleaned several times and all fluids are removed before
being moved outside. There are no drains or stormwater outfalls in the area. Facility has no ASTs outside and only a
compactor style dumpster. Several stormwater outfalls were observed along the rear fence line, which appear to receive
stormwater flow/runoff from vegetated areas and roof leaders. Per Mr. Canady, there is no equipment on the roof with
emissions or particulates and the facility does not have any DAQ permits. Facility is a distribution center for storage of
finished/packaged products and shipping with no vehicle maintenance activity. Based on the observations made at the time
of the site visit and BPJ, a No Exposure Certification is being granted.
